Sharon Rosel, of Earls Bay, British Columbia, Canada, was woken up by her pet dog barking around 3 a.m. on the day of the incident. Worried that someone would break into the house, Ms. Xuelun hurried to the balcony to check, but she did not expect to find a special scene.
A large black bear broke the window of her car and got into the car to search for things. According to Sharon, during the hour and a half of observing the black bear on the balcony, she witnessed the whole process of the black bear pretending to be a robber.
First, it broke the car window and found the soda and pop that Ms. Sharon had left in the car. Next, the black bear deftly opened the soda cans with its teeth. It eagerly drank all kinds of fizzy drinks, from orange soda to Coke and beer, without leaving a single one.
According to her, "I had 72 cans of soda in the car and the bear guzzled down 69 of them at once."
Sharon said she tried to scare the bear away by splashing cold water and making loud noises, but her actions were futile. Perhaps because he liked drinking soda too much, the black bear refused to leave despite the danger.
In the end, Ms. Sharon could only watch helplessly as the bear drank its fill and destroyed her car. The wild bear not only broke the window but also tore the leather seat and spilled soda all over the floor.
According to Ms. Sharon, because she lives in a deserted place and knows that there are wild animals, especially black bears, she has been paying attention to them. There is no food or food left in the car, but she did not expect that soda can also attract black bears.
