IAPA (Instituto Amor em Patas) found this abandoned female dog in dire condition. It is understood that the dog named Natajuli was abandoned by her owner when she was 9 weeks pregnant.
It may be that the owner was afraid of facing the situation of childbirth, and even though Nata Jolie was pregnant, the owner abandoned her to face life and death alone.
When IAPA found Natajuli, the mother dog was already very weak. She could not stand up and trembled in front of everyone. It took a while for everyone to calm down Nata Jolie.
When she first met the volunteers at the shelter, the mother dog was very alert and took precautions to protect her pups. Everyone had to reassure Natajuli until she could relax and get along with everyone.

The staff began to check the health status and condition of the unborn puppies in Natajuli's womb. "Tonight is probably going to be a long night because we have to do an ultrasound for Natajuli because she is very weak," shared a volunteer.
Natajuli was tested and gave birth shortly after. "Look at her, there are about 13-14 puppies," said many surprised by the size of Natajuli's big belly. As expected, Natajuli gave birth smoothly, giving birth to 14 cute and chubby puppies.
Natajuli and her 14 puppies were taken to the vet for a brief checkup and a weight check. "I cried when I saw her smile and kiss her baby," said a volunteer who witnessed Natajuli giving birth.
