Archaeologists discovered ancient gateway that was used for summoning the deceased

In a captivating archaeological find, a team of researchers has uncovered an ancient portal in Israel's Te'omim Cave.

This portal is believed to have been utilized for summoning the deceased.

Situated southwest of Jerusalem, the Te'omim Cave has long been a site of interest for archaeologists.

Through extensive excavations, researchers have unearthed a trove of artifacts that shed light on the enigmatic rituals conducted within its depths.

Axes, oil lamps, and the presence of three human skulls suggest that this cave was once a hub for clandestine activities involving communication with the dead.

Comparing it to the idea of necromancy, which involves interacting with the dead, archaeologists Eitan Klein and Boaz Zissu propose that the Te'omim Cave acted as a gateway to the underworld.

The deliberate organization of the unearthed objects suggests their involvement in ancient rituals of predicting the future performed within the cave.

The cave was set as a place for summoning the dead.

These discoveries suggest that the cave was not chosen randomly but deliberately selected as a special place for connecting with the world beyond our own.

While historical documentation from the period is scant, the absence of detailed records regarding the practices conducted within the cave may have been intentional.

It is plausible that these rituals were kept secret, known only to a select few who were entrusted with the knowledge and power to communicate with the departed.

"The Te’omim Cave in the Jerusalem hills has all the cultic and physical elements necessary to serve as a possible portal to the underworld.

"The findings and their specific archaeological contexts provide a better understanding of divination rites that were probably held in the cave," reports said.

Recently, scientists have been left in awe after uncovering colossal human skeletons within the caves of Nevada.

For years, researchers have been intrigued by the possibility of a lost civilization of giants that once inhabited the Nevada caves.

Native American tribes have passed down stories of the Si-Te-Cah, a fierce tribe of red-haired giants who clashed with local populations.

These legends have been fueled by intriguing artifacts found in Lovelock Cave, which include oversized human skulls, massive handprints etched on cave walls, and a gigantic 15-inch sandal, indicating the existence of beings with enormous feet.

The initial recorded discovery occurred in 1911 when miners searching for guano stumbled upon a remarkable collection of human remains in Lovelock Cave.

Some of these skeletons were reported to be exceptionally large, reaching heights of seven to eight feet.

Official excavations conducted in 1912 and 1924 revealed a wealth of artifacts, such as baskets, duck calls, arrowheads, and animal figurines, providing valuable insights into the lives of these ancient inhabitants.

The reports about the giants of Lovelock have varied over time, with later claims suggesting heights of up to 10 feet. Interestingly, certain remains displayed red hair, a stark contrast to the local Paiute people.
