Mia Yilin shared this mind-bending optical illusion on TikTok, explaining that the image has the ability to determine if you are a hothead who is likely to fly off the handle or if you are calm like a meadow at dawn.

It all hinges on your initial focus when you observe the black-and-white sketch: whether you notice a glamorous young woman or an elderly lady.

Take a look at the image below and see what your eyes are drawn to first...

In the footage, the creator content shared:

What's the first thing you see in this picture?

If you first saw the old lady, then you are someone, who would rather let others have their way than waste time over an argument.

You are very logical and levelheaded when it comes to relationships and are impossible to lie to.

If you first saw the young woman then you have a short fuse and can get frustrated rather easily.

However, you're also able to forgive and move on quickly too. You hate asking for help from others and prefer to just do things yourself.

The optical illusion left many individuals expressing their bewilderment in the comments section.

One person said: For those still looking: The old woman's nose is the young woman's jaw,, and the old woman's eye is the young woman's ear.

A second wrote: The first time I saw it some 30 years back, I did see two figures straight away. Old & young lady, was the only one in my class who saw it that way.

A third commented: Have always seen young ladies first, because it's more prominent. True that I get irritated because I don't suffer fools lightly.

Someone else said: This drawing has been around for ages and I remember being shown it as a child about 50 years ago. In those days it was just for fun but apparently, something thinks it is a fantastic psychological testing tool nowadays.

Another added: If you look down you see the old woman if you look up you see the young girl you have to place your eyes up or down.
