Bernedoodle's heartwarming after-school hug with little brother goes viral

Returning home from school is always a special moment for this little boy as he has an adorable surprise waiting for him.

 

His loyal Bernedoodle dog waits patiently in their front yard and watches eagerly as his human brother gets off the school bus and walks towards him.

Instead of running, the dog walks toward his little brother who runs up to him for a greeting.

Perhaps the dog has been running around all day and just wanted to stretch his legs. To the surprise of the little boy, the dog stands up on his back legs and gives him a heartwarming hug that lasts longer than expected.

It appears that this is a routine they do every day because the little boy wasn't taken aback by the dog's action.

Alternatively, maybe he has been training his dog to do this, and the dog has finally mastered it! The boy embraced his furry friend while the dog gave him loving kisses.

It is evident that these two are thrilled to be reunited after a long day apart. It's safe to assume that these two are inseparable and spend most of their time together when the boy isn't at school.

Bernedoodles, a breed that results from crossing Bernese Mountain Dogs and Poodles, make wonderful family pets.

With the combination of the playful and cheerful nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the intelligence of the Poodle, Bernedoodles have the best of both breeds. They adore playing with children, and they enjoy being around young kids who can keep up with their liveliness.

Bernedoodles, as a mixed breed, exhibit a variety of physical traits and therefore may not always look identical to one another.

Even if two Bernedoodles are standing side by side, it may be difficult to discern that they are of the same crossbreed due to their varying appearances. 

Bernedoodles have distinctive characteristics when it comes to their size.

They can grow to a height of 23 to 29 inches, typically between the ages of 12 to 14 months. Additionally, their weight can range between 50 to 90 lbs at the same age range. 

Regrettably, although they can be loyal companions, Bernedoodles are not ideal as guard dogs due to their friendly nature and lack of vocalization.

They are not likely to bark or make noise when they see strangers, whether human or canine, and may even be welcoming to intruders.
