Bigfoot hunter stunned after spotting nine-inch footprint with five stumpy toes of the legendary beast

Chuck Headley, a member of the 'Bigfoot Believers' organization, shared the news on Facebook with many pictures showing what appeared to be the shape of a very huge foot in a messy manner.

The mysterious footprint which was discovered in West Virginia's Ritchie County, featured the imprint of five short toes and appeared to indicate that the monster had come up from a small body of water.

Even though the photographs had some merit, doubters remained doubtful because they all had the same question: "Why is there only one print?" or "Where is another print?"

Ron Martin, a user, commented: *sigh* Why is there only ONE footprint all the time? How come? "Bigfoot lands a mile away after hopping on just one foot?

Lol, why always 1 print? said another user.

They take one step and take off, the second joked.

Let's say it's a monster's foot, so where is another foot? Was it born with only one foot? someone asked.

Despite numerous pieces of evidence, no one is convincing enough about the existence of BigFoot. Image Credit: Image: Facebook/Bigfoot Believers

It's not the first time that someone has posted "evidence" of the Sasquatch online, and Chuck won't be the last. Many Bigfoot enthusiasts have presented dubious proof of the creature's existence including huge footprints, audio and video recordings, and hair samples.

The year 1967 appeared to be the catalyst for the global infatuation with Bigfoot, as unsettling footage from the Six Rivers National Forest about this creature was discovered.

The 'Patterson-Gimlin' tape, a three-minute blurry clip taken by adventurers Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin, shows a hairy beast moving through the woods. This was the first time Bigfoot was observed by humans.

Nonetheless, the general view among experts is that claims regarding Bigfoot's existence are untrue.

The Bigfoot's existence is still unclear, but the majority suppose it was a confusion or prank. Image Credit: Wikipedia

More frequently than not, sightings of a real creature are dismissed as confusion or pranks when there is a belief in the presence of a big, ape-like creature.
