Biohacker Bryan Johnson, renowned for his unconventional approach to reversing aging, has made headlines again with a surprising announcement.
The man also gained fame for using his son's blood in his quest for eternal youth, recently revealing that he is undergoing a personal transition.
Bryan Johnson, who is 46 years old, has been determined to look young and has spent a lot of money on ways to reverse aging to achieve the beauty of an 18-year-old.
His big plan, called "Project Blueprint," includes eating healthy, exercising hard, and having a good sleep routine.
He has also had medical procedures like getting his blood tested often and putting a liter of his son's plasma into his body.
Johnson believes these methods will help him stay youthful. Despite some failures, he remains committed to his goal of defying the aging process and maintaining a youthful appearance forever.
In a special treatment called the "world's first multigenerational plasma exchange," Johnson exchanged plasma with both his 17-year-old son and his 70-year-old father.
This was done to try to fight against the cognitive decline that comes with aging.
However, after waiting with hope, Johnson admitted in July that he did not see any positive effects from the therapy.
As a result, he decided to stop the treatment. Johnson did mention that exchanging plasma from younger people might be helpful for older individuals or certain health problems, but it did not work well for him in particular.
Even though the setback, Johnson claims to have seen positive changes in his appearance as a result of his anti-aging efforts.
Through a series of images posted on social media, he showcased the noticeable transformation in his facial features.
Comparing his current appearance to that of 2018, Johnson's cheekbones became more defined, and his hair grew darker and longer, leading him to declare that he is transitioning.
On the social media platform, Johnson invited his followers to vote when they believed he had reached his peak during his journey: 2018, 2023, or 2024.
While a majority of voters selected 2018 as his peak, a significant percentage expressed that he looked better now than six years ago.
In a recent social media post, he intentionally left a blank space among his photos, sparking curiosity about how he might look in 2049.
One lighthearted comment even jokingly suggested that by that time, Johnson would have achieved eternal life.
Bryan Johnson's unconventional methods and his recent declaration of transitioning have sparked both curiosity and controversy.
Neat idea I guess. Worth a try! See what happens and study it. Probably some useful data to be had, one user said.
He looked better before. All that has changed is he is working out and eating well, so has lost weight and gained muscle mass. Unfortunately whilst potentially healthier, fat in the face helps to appear youthful so in my opinion he now looks a lot older, the second said.
He looks sick & tired.. just a legal way of drinking baby blood ig regardless if it's a 17yo or not. His son was 11 when he started, another wrote.
Everyone obsessed with looking younger when it’s actually a privilege some people don’t get to grow old! Someone said.
