The "Believe" singer conversed with Jennifer Hudson on Wednesday's podcast episode. In the interview, Cher explains why she likes to date younger men.
She explained: “I’m really shy when I’m not working and kind of shy around men, and the reason I got with young men is because men my age are older."
“Well, now they’re all dead, but before, they were always terrified to approach me, and younger men were the only ones.”
Cher is currently dating music producer Alexander Edwards, who is 40 years her junior.
The 4X-generation singer met the 8X-year-old at the Paris Fashion Week in autumn 2022, and they fell for each other immediately.
Cher described her boyfriend: "He's kind, very intelligent, talented, and genuinely funny. I think he's quite handsome. He's wonderful. I usually don't praise men for things they don't deserve."
Cher said she and Alexander Edwards are perfectly in sync spiritually. For her, age is just a number and holds no significance in love.
The couple made their first official appearance as a couple at the Versace 2023 fashion show, and their affectionate look left no doubt that they love each other.
While some may be uncomfortable with the age difference, a source close to Cher revealed that Alexander makes her feel special.
Cher and Alexander were both smiling as they posed on the red carpet, and their chemistry was clearly on display in every photo.

Also in this week's interview, Cher revealed she once turned down a date with the "King of Rock and Roll" Elvis Presley.
She explained: "That's because I was anxious, and I knew the people around him. Not that they were bad people, just because I was a bit concerned about his reputation."
