Couple awarded $1.2 million in Wishes from Genie lamp discover

The couple then granted three wishes valued at a staggering $1.2 million.

The couple spotted a genie lamp during the hunt in the desert. 

The couple, Ron Novak and Michelle Bush, from New Mexico, found a genie lamp in three months over two expeditions in Dallas to unearth this elusive artifact.

There is a competition run by Treasure Games.

The participants subscribe to receive hints that lead to the lamp's secret location. Upon finding the lamp, they are presented with a choice: accept $1 million in cash or opt for three wishes totaling $1.2 million.

The couple, Ron Novak and Michelle Bush, register to participate in the contest and luckily find a magic lamp. 

The couple was reported to have spotted the genie bottle in the Texas brush. 

The couple's adventure paid off handsomely when they deciphered a Seinfeld-inspired riddle, leading them to the genie bottle nestled in the Texas wilderness.

Overwhelmed with joy, Novak recounted the moment of discovery to WWLP, expressing his initial shock.

Their chosen wishes included a Sprinter van tailored for their four dogs, a motel in New Mexico for renovation, and a generous charitable contribution.

According to reports, the couple chose to receive three gifts, including, - a Sprinter van fit for their four dogs, an entire motel they want to renovate, and a charitable donation. 

After the incident, the couple chose to donate their price.

Their first act of kindness was a donation to the Hare Krishna Food for Life Group, an organization that supported Novak during his time of need.

"It was the biggest gift to give back to those who helped me when I was a taker," he shared with WWLP.

The couple's second wish involved acquiring the Southwest Motel in Grants, New Mexico, which they are now refurbishing.

The treasure hunt, embarked upon in a cramped Subaru filled with their four-legged companions, led to their third wish: a spacious Sprinter van for their canine family.

Bush humorously noted to WWLP that the van was primarily for the dogs, sharing an inside joke.

Looking ahead, Novak and Bush are inspired to create their own treasure hunt, offering a grand prize of at least $5,000.

Bush assures that their version will be more accessible, designed to be solved within a weekend or a week.

Meanwhile, Treasure Games is gearing up for their next genie bottle hunt, promising a $1 million prize, set to commence in June.
