What do you do when your shirt has a hidden slogan? I'm sure that I left shocked and threw it in the garbage.
In this case, it happened at Walmart. You didn't hear wrong! A customer was shocked after spotting that the makers had accidentally emblazoned it with an obscene word hidden in the slogan
In the viral post on X formerly known as Twitter, a customer who goes by @whosurdaddienow left shocked after she discovered a very rude swear word hidden in the Walmart slogan.
Her post went viral on social media and sparked debate. The post has the caption, " I need this shirt before Walmart realizes what they have done. Find the hidden word.'
The picture showed a pro-recycling T-shirt in close-up. The text on the T-shirt read: "RE" written on the left, and the words "cycle," "use," "new," and "think" are stacked on the right side of the green t-shirt.
This slogan is pretty normal. Numerous claims that it was an environmentally friendly message seem innocent enough. However, someone shocked after spotting the first letters of each word inadvertently spells out 'c**t.'
Someone admitted that they were completely unaware of it; however, another person pointed out a rude swear word hidden in the slogan, and they also laughed out loud when they spotted it.
One person said: Did they trash the shirts or recycle them?
A second wrote: Yeah ya did!! I got one in black with green writing!!
While a third commented: I'll do you one better; I bought one.
Someone else said: That's hilarious. Wish I had seen this tweet before I went to Walmart earlier because I would have bought it!
Maybe that's why that short didn't help me win my ex-girlfriend back. Another added.
After a customer discovered concealed profanity in the slogan, causing a mix of amusement and shock on the internet, a T-shirt promoting recycling was pulled from Walmart shelves after that.
The T-shirt was produced by the George fashion label, a Walmart-owned brand, and was exclusively available in Canada.
According to Newsweek, the T-shirt was priced at $5, then swiftly removed from stores after the hidden word was brought to attention.
The tweet, then quickly viral on social media and sparked debate after a Walmart spokesperson said: 'This was not intentional, and the T-shirt has been removed."
