After being adopted from an animal shelter in Central Valley (California), Meatball, or Meaty for short, cannot hide his immense happiness in front of the humans he loves.
Two years ago, Meaty was just one of hundreds of dogs in the shelter waiting to be adopted.
Fortunately, on a beautiful day, a woman named Lisa Reilly suddenly saw a picture of Meaty online, uploaded by the Fresno Bully Rescue Center. Meaty reminds Lisa of her pet cat who died three months ago.
Lisa came to the centre and saw the pup curled up to sunbathe. Like many other poor dogs, Meaty is extremely thin and weak.
“The Fresno Bully Rescue Centre has been very good to Meaty since I first met him until I was able to take him home,” Lisa said.
What surprised Lisa the most is that every time she put the camera up to take his pictures, Meaty always looks radiant and smiles cutely.
Due to his funny face, Meaty quickly gained the love of tens of thousands of Internet users. The dog's Instagram page has attracted more than 30,000 followers and is still growing day by day.
