Dog lost after car crash found days later on as skilled sheep herder on farm

A dog that was missing in a car crash in  Idaho was found safe and healthy. It appears that the dog has started a new chapter in its life, as a sheepdog on a farm near the location of the collision.

Accroding Spokesman-Review newspaper states,  Linda Oswald and her family lost their two-year-old dog, Tilly.

During a car accident on a state highway, Tilly was forcefully thrown out of the truck through the rear window. Witnesses present at the scene reported seeing Tilly swiftly dashing across the prairie before eventually disappearing from sight.

After the accident, luckily no one was injured, but the Oswald family is very saddened by the loss of Tilly. They spent hours scouring the scene of the crash in hopes of finding the missing dog.

Oswald even turned to Facebook to seek assistance: 

She wrote:" “Mike and I were in a car accident,” Linda Oswald wrote in the post, which has been shared thousands of times. “We are good but my dog Tilly is missing. he was thrown out and was seen running north.”

Tilly was found at Porter Ranch, 1.5 miles from the crash site, after the crash. A rancher finds a sheepdog. They realized it was the lost dog on Facebook.

According to the Spokesman, the Potters, and Oswalds believe that Tilly was attracted to and had a natural instinct for herding sheep, so he followed his instincts.

After that, the local sheriff rolled up to ask about Tilly and helps him reunite his family.  According to Tilly's owner, Lida, although he lost weight due to dehydration, he remains in good health and high spirits.
