On Sunday, concerned locals in Wells, Maine reported a curious dog, possibly a husky, stuck on its roof to the police department.
A member of the Wells Fire Department climbed up to the second-story roof where he was greeted by the affectionate pup.
When successfully rescued, the dog was generous with kisses. The dog kissed the firefighter as a "thank you" for rescuing him.
The police department wrote in the caption of the photo, "There is nothing more delightful than an animal demonstrating appreciation!"
