Their attempt to escape the shopping center involved a dramatic '78-Point Turn

In the footage, the driver was seen going the wrong way, attempting to make a three-point turn instead of reversing back out. This decision resulted in what can only be described as a '78-point turn'.

In the post, a Reddit user added: "Found this on Facebook and I use this entry as I come in to work at Hornsby". 

The video showed the car was seen inching forward and backward for several long minutes before it finally mounted the curb.

After dozens of maneuvers, the driver managed to free the car and zoomed away, making viewers breathe a sigh of relief.
