In a peculiar turn of events, a disagreement between fans of Dua Lipa and Nicki Minaj escalated to the point where law enforcement had to intervene.
A fan of Dua Lipa, caught in an online disagreement with a Nicki Minaj fan, took the situation to the next level by involving the authorities when the Nicki Minaj fan unexpectedly showed up at their home.
Online arguments and debates are nothing new, especially in the era of social media.
However, this particular disagreement took an unexpected twist when it transcended the digital realm.
Fans of Nicki Minaj and Dua Lipa often engage in friendly banter and discussions over who is the superior music artist.
The Nicki Minaj fan, identified as Corales, reportedly flew from Los Angeles to Phoenix, Arizona, where the Dua Lipa fan, known as Kenzo, resided.
This visit came after Kenzo allegedly shared his address online and encouraged "stan Twitter" to visit his home.
Corales documented his journey and confrontation with Kenzo in a series of videos posted on social media.
“Cardi tanked. Nicki Minaj is the queen of rap. F**k Dua Lipa,” Corales said.
Tempers flared as the two fans clashed in person, with Kenzo expressing his discomfort and calling out Corales for inciting others to attack his family due to their differing opinions on Nicki Minaj.
“You’ve been encouraging others on social media to attack my family over Stan Twitter drama just because I said I don’t like Nicki Minaj,” Kenzo said.
Eventually, the situation escalated to the point where the police were called to the scene.
In one video, Corales can be seen exhibiting a lack of seriousness about the situation, even inviting the police officer to greet his fans.
It is worth noting that Corales does not appear to have been arrested, as he later shared another video from what seemed to be a hotel room.
Kenzo faced backlash for irresponsibly sharing his address and inviting strangers to his home.
Corales, on the other hand, was condemned for traveling to Kenzo's house to engage in a petty argument that should have remained online.
Don’t post your address and invite people if you ain’t want it, one user said.
Wonder what would they get regarding this useless debate? The second replied.
These new Gen Z fans are psychotic, the third commented.
