Eerie footage shows UFO 'splits in two' before mysteriously vanishing and then resurfacing

Eerie footage showing a UFO divided into two segments has gained widespread attention on YouTube. This phenomenon might have been linked to the 2004 Phoenix Lights event, a continuation of the notable incident from 1997 that rocked the nation

Now, Eerie footage recently resurfaced, showcasing a UFO encounter the alien craft splitting into two before inexplicably disappearing.

This event was part of the sequence of occurrences within the 2004 edition of the infamous Phoenix Lights incident.

During 1997, thousands of people living in the Tuscon, Arizona,  reported observing peculiar arrangements of lights in the sky.

Some witnesses claimed that the lights took on the appearance of a V-shaped interstellar craft or a massive spacecraft. Other accounts mentioned sightings of various mysterious lights or UFOs.

However, the local Air Force explained that the lights witnessed were attributed to their aircraft while they had been conducting routine training operations.

However, the public remained skeptical of this explanation, and recent events have reignited long-standing conspiracy theories. This resurgence of interest comes in the wake of a recent Congressional hearing focused on UFO research in the United States.

Retired Major David Grusch, a government whistleblower and former intelligence official, caused shockwaves throughout the nation when he asserted that officials had discovered fallen extraterrestrial craft containing 'non-human' remains. However, his claim was immediately denied by the Pentagon.

The viral YouTuber known as ChaosMoogle shared the video showcasing the intriguing footage. The footage was captured by videographer Jeff Woolwine in October 2004. Woolwine's technology at that time was not the latest, and it took several years for him, a prolific UFO enthusiast, to upload the footage.

Woolwine utilized a tape recorder during that period, and subsequently, he had to convert the film to DVDs, a process that consumed a significant amount of time. He reportedly has multiple videos of UFO sightings that have yet to be uploaded as well.

The footage showed the light was moving a small amount and fluctuating in brightness before gradually dividing into two identically sized orbs. Within a matter of seconds, both orbs disappeared

ChaosMoogle explained: "This is not an infrared video — it is just a regular video, so we're seeing it how it would be seen with the naked eye". He also narrates as Woolwine adjusts the zoom level intermittently during the clip.

This particular footage constitutes a part of a compilation video named  "Most Credible UFO Sightings",  which was shared by ChaosMoogle.
