While a third commented: So now the rednecks can shoot each other in style
Another added: Is this a case of the steel being used just happens to more or less already be 9mm proof?
Someone else said: If it takes bullets, prob less susceptible to door dings. Some may like that.
Another added: this was the bit that i was actually most interested about - if the exterior paneling can withstand 115 gr 9mm FMJ at near-contact distances. Impressive
In other words, you are carrying an excess amount of steel around that you never need. Didn’t know I could want it less. Another added.
However, this is not the first time Tesla has demonstrated the robustness of this vehicle, with the first accident involving the Tesla Cybertruck leaving everyone stunned by its intact condition.
The pictures provided a glimpse of the aftermath of a collision between a Tesla Cybertruck and a Toyota Corolla.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) summary, the accident occurred at approximately 2:05 pm on SR-35, south of Page Mill Road.
The initial investigation revealed that the Toyota Corolla, traveling southbound, suddenly veered to the right, striking a dirt embankment and spinning out of control before colliding with the Cybertruck.
The force of the impact caused significant damage to the Corolla, with the front end and the side completely smashed. Suprisely the Cybertruck was seen in almost intact condition, leaving viewers shocked.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities. The Tesla driver sustained a suspected minor injury and declined medical transportation. It does not appear that the Tesla Cybertruck was being operated in autonomous mode.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
Well, although all-electric, Cybertruck showed outstanding durability not only just bulletproof but also features reinforced glass.
This robust design aims to ensure the safety of passengers even in extreme conditions.
