Elon Musk predicts that AI will become superior to human int
elligence in the future.
Elon Musk has reiterated his forecast for when AI will surpass human cognitive abilities, emphasizing concerns such as job displacement, economic inequality, and the potential ramifications of AI outpacing human comprehension.
On Twitter, Elon Musk made a statement about this incident.
In the post, he wrote: "AI will probably be smarter than any single human next year. By 2029, AI is probably smarter than all humans combined."
Below the post, several user shair their thought about Musk's sharing. While others may dismiss Musk's viewpoint, arguing that AI cannot entirely replace humans.
According to Elon Musk, he envisions optimizing AI to be as beneficial and efficient as possible, aiming for rapid advancements in its functionality.
He predicts that by next year, AI will likely surpass the intelligence of any individual human, with projections indicating that by 2029, AI could outmatch the combined intellectual capacity of humanity.
One person said: It doesn’t have to become smarter. We just have to become so dependent on it that if it fails our system crashes and we die from starvation because we can’t buy food or keep warm.
A second wrote: If the world was run by machines then we are done. All it would take is one virus and the town is filled with casualties.
While a third commented: Since when did Elon Musk become the fountain of all knowledge? Personally, I would have to check the colour of orange juice if it was him telling me.
Someone else said: Don't know much about that ! So explain to me how AI would function in natural disasters situations when we have days and weeks of electricity blackouts.
Another added: Lots of laughter and joking about this yeah yeah she be right mate ok cool until it kicks you in the ass and then what it's happening right now but lot of sand out there with heads in it.
Addionally, the unveiling of Tesla's humanoid robot, Optimus, at Tesla’s AI Day three years ago, underscored Musk's vision for integrating advanced robotics into everyday life.
Despite Optimus's seemingly human-like movements, it pales in comparison to the capabilities of Boston Dynamics’ Atlas, which boasts impressive feats such as running, jumping, and performing backflips.
