The free climber shocked viewers by scaling a crane 1,280 feet high in Dubai.

 British free climber Adam Lockwood recently undertook a daring ascent up a towering crane in Dubai, only to encounter an unexpected and perilous obstacle.the crane was coated in grease.

Adam Lockwood, known as 'Nuisance' on YouTube, meticulously planned his ascent of the crane atop Il Primo. a residential skyscraper in Dubai. 

Adam Lockwood filmed his adventure and shared it on YouTube.

The video has the caption: 'Hanging off the tallest crane in Dubai (390m) after getting caught'.

In the footage, Adam Lockwood was seen posing as a construction worker to gain access to a crane 1,280 feet high in Dubai.

His journey was tougher than imagined, as he faced a dangerous turn when he realized the crane's bars were slick with grease

When Lockwood made his way up the crane, he faced numerous challenges, including evading workers and navigating multiple stairwells. 

His GoPro battery was also running low, limiting his filming time at the precarious height of 1,280 feet above ground.

He added: "When I reached the top I realised I had only brought one GoPro battery, and it was on 20 percent, meaning I could only film for a few minutes,"

Lockwood was spotted 1,280 feet up a crane in Dubai, which was covered in grease. 

His adventure became more thrilling as he reached the top. However, Lockwood was shocked after discovering the extent of the crane's greased surfaces."

In the footage, he also displays his dirty hands to the camera, initially mistaking the grime for desert dust. It wasn't until sunrise that he realized the crane's bars were coated in grease.

He said in the video: "Climbing up the jib, I quickly realised the whole crane was covered in grease that I couldn't even see, at first I thought it was dust from the desert but checking my hands it was grease, feet and hands slipping on everything I touched."

Despite the peril, he managed daring stunts like hanging from the structure and dangling upside down, all captured on his GoPro.

Lockwood shared his experience about thrilling adventure. 

After the thrilling adventure, Lockwood expressed both pride and caution. While he found the experience exhilarating and unique, he acknowledged the risks involved, especially with the legal consequences if caught.

He said: "When I first looked at the footage, I was thinking to myself, 'this is it, this is the most incredible thing I've done'.

He thought it was a really crazy experience, a really weird feeling.

Lockwood continues to love climbing and being suspended in the air. However, he admits that he won't be repeating the same stunt any time soon.

"I love seeing things from height, I love having my body suspended hundreds of meters in the sky, I love the challenges of infiltrating secure places to achieve these goals and it’s something that has kept me alive since I started, and I don’t think I can give it up." He added.

However, many viewers expressed concerns about the safety and preparation of these extreme sports. Although many people think that Lookwood's adventure is crazy, it is also amazing.

One person said: 'This is one of the most incredible things i have ever done." This is, in fact, one of the stupidest, most futile things, anyona has ever done.

A second wrote: My god only from watching him doing this, I'm dying from absolute fear

While a third commented: aaaand my palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
