Gypsy had previously announced her split from her ex-husband Ryan Scott Anderson in March and reconnected her relationship with Ken Urker in April.

Gypsy Rose expressed her eagerness and excitement about the pregnancy.

In the video, she tearfully hopes to provide her child with a childhood that she never had because of her mother's abuse.

She said children in Gypsy's situation often faced exploitation and a lack of parental affection.

Gypsy became emotional when mentioning the "crazy headaches" she has been experiencing due to the pregnancy. However, she affirmed that she and Ken will navigate the upcoming challenges together.

Blanchard and her estranged husband Anderson got married while she was in prison, but shortly after she got out, their relationship fell apart.

Anderson was surprised when Blanchard asked for a divorce, blaming her renewed connection with Urker.

"I'm having a hard time with this. It came as a complete surprise to me," he said.

"I didn't know she still had such strong feelings for him," Anderson added, talking about Blanchard's ex-fiancé Urker.

At first, after splitting from Anderson, Blanchard said Urker was just a friend and there was no romance.

However, while she was in prison, Gypsy continued a relationship with Urker. He reached out to her in 2019 with a supportive letter after watching the HBO documentary *Mommy Dead And Dearest*.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is known for being the victim of medical abuse, also called Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

When she was a child, she was imprisoned and abused by her own mother, Dee Dee, for many years.

For years, Dee Dee fabricated and exaggerated Gypsy's medical conditions, subjecting her to unnecessary surgeries, medications, and confined living conditions.

Gypsy, believing herself to be seriously ill due to her mother's relentless deception, lived under strict supervision and endured isolation from peers and the broader community.

During her childhood, Blanchard was forced by her mom to pretend to be wheelchair-bound.

Dee Dee shaved her head, administered unnecessary medications, and falsely portrayed her as suffering from leukemia and muscular dystrophy to the public.

In 2015, Gypsy culminated this by conspiring with her boyfriend to kill her mother to escape from her mother.

Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years in prison, of which she served 7 years. She was released in December 2023 and is now building a new life with her boyfriend Ken Urker.

Blanchard's traumatic childhood and early adulthood have been the subject of many documentaries, movies, books, and media articles.
