After allegations made by Fernanda Campos, an influencer on Instagram, the Paris Saint-Germain star invited her back to his apartment on the eve of Brazil's Valentine's Day.
Campos said she spent 40 minutes together in Neymar's apartment. Soon after, she deleted her post on Instagram. She shared that: " "I am living in hell. I am being judged and attacked from all sides. I ask you not to judge me for what I did and what I have to do now."
Afterward. Neymar publicly issued an apology to his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi.
The bizarre apology was posted to the footballers on his Instagram. Neymar expressed his hope for the endurance of their love, regardless of his actions.
The post read:
"Bru. I do this for both of you and your family. Justify the unjustifiable. No need to. But I need you in OUR lives.
"I saw how much you were exposed, how much you suffered with all of this and how much you want to be by my side. And I stand beside you.
"I did wrong with you all. I risk saying I’m wrong every day, on and off the pitch. Only I solve my mistakes in personal life at home, in my intimacy with my family and friends…
"All of this hit one of the most special people in my life. The woman I dreamed of following beside me, mother of my child.
