The previous owner of these remarkable jeans was vintage fashion collector Brit Eaton, who also organized the Durango Vintage Festivus, an annual vintage fashion festival where the auction took place.

About ten years ago, Eaton helped sell the jeans to a customer in Japan. After his vintage festival in 2022 went well, he decided to buy the jeans for himself.

Later, he decided to auction them off for $100,000 to interested buyers.

An anonymous person from Thailand, who bid online, became the lucky owner of these special jeans.

Although the jeans were quite old, they weren't in perfect condition. They had signs of use, stains, and fading. However, their historical importance and scarcity made them a highly desired item.

The jeans have some noticeable damage. In some photos, the lower part of one leg is torn and frayed.

They also look dirty in certain areas and have faded over time. Overall, their quality is not as good as the new Levi's jeans that you can buy nowadays at much lower prices.
