Hikers were left puzzled when they stumbled upon the mysterious structure, resembling a giant Toblerone, on Hay Bluff near the town of Powys.
One of the witnesses, Richard Haynes, captured photographs of the latest sighting while running on Hay Bluff.
Then he shared his picture with WalesOnline.
He told WalesOnline: “I thought it looked a bit bizarre and might be a scientific media research thing collecting rainwater."
Richard Haynes then shared his experience with this shocking moment. He recounted that he started to look closer and realized it was too tall and that it was made of stainless steel.
He added: “But then realized it was way too tall and strange for that. Then I went up to it and it was about 10-foot-tall at least and triangular, definitely stainless steel.
Additionally, he described a 10-foot mysterious metal monolith as hollow and pretty light.
He said: "Light enough for two people to carry it up and plant it in the ground.”
In 2020, similar structures were spotted in remote areas across Europe, including Compton Beach on the Isle of Wight and the Merry Maidens stone circle in Cornwall, sparking curiosity and speculation.
In recent years, this sight, one of many across the UK and the US, has attracted hundreds of social media users.
Despite speculation, it has been confirmed that the structures are not the work of the renowned street artist Banksy. In fact, one of the structures that emerged in 2020 was adorned with the words 'Not Banksy' all over it.
Richard Haynes, who took photographs of the latest sighting while running on Hay Bluff, noted that, according to Google, the structure tends to disappear after a few days.
“I did notice on Google that it’s popped up fairly recently and from what I can gather it disappears after a couple of days,” Richard added.
