The billboard in Sweetwater, Texas, US, has already proven successful, with Al receiving over 400 calls and 50 emails in just two weeks.

The 20ft high billboard features a picture of Al and the text: ‘Lonely Male Can Relocate Sweetwater’ followed by ‘Seeks Female Marriage Minded, Enjoys Karaoke.’

Despite most calls being from people after his money, Al remains hopeful of finding 'Miss Right' soon.

An AI spent $400 on a billboard advertisement to find a girlfriend, listing three non-negotiable qualities in a partner.

Al, a previously married dad-of-one, has three non-negotiables in a partner: loyalty, honesty, and sincerity. He is willing to relocate anywhere in the US, or even as far as the UK, for the right person.

Al believes he can offer a potential partner good listening skills and an open mind.

He has a retirement income, is in good shape, and doesn't look his age. He has been single since 2015 and is open to dating someone younger.

He said: “I’m looking for someone that’s slim built and looks wise I don’t really mind.

“I just want someone loyal, I want someone honest about themselves and someone sincere, that’s going to be coming into something they really want to be in.”

He added: “I can offer someone that’s going to listen.

“I have a retirement income, I’m in good shape, I don’t look my age and I’m open.

Additionally, the AI shared his experience since advertising himself on the billboard to find a girlfriend

Al, a former band promoter from Burlington, Vermont, shares his experience since the billboard went up on April 2nd.

He reveals that he has received numerous inquiries from people looking to gain something from him, but he remains optimistic about meeting the right person.

AI also shared his first-date plans

Al's plans for a first date depend on the person is location. If they're in Europe, initial meetings would have to be on Zoom. From there, if the person wants to come to the US, that would be great, or Al would consider going over to the UK.

He said: “If it’s someone who’s in Europe it would have to be on Zoom for a while.

“From there if the person wants to come here to the US, that would be great, or I’d go over to the UK.

Previously, instead of seeking an advertisement to find a partner, a woman made over 2,700 fake emergency calls because she was 'lonely'

The Chiba Prefectural Police allege that Niroko Hatagami made false emergency calls using her mobile phone and other methods for two years and nine months, spanning from August 2020 to May 2023.

According to the Mainichi report, Hatagami admitted she felt ‘lonely and wanted someone to listen […] and give me attention’, which led her to make the calls not only from her home but also from various locations in her neighborhood.

From August 2020 to May 2023, she repeatedly made numerous calls to the Matsudo fire department to dispatch ambulances for various symptoms, such as a stomach ache, drug overdose, and aching legs, among others.

However, when the ambulances arrived, she reportedly denied making the calls and refused to be taken to the hospital.

After the incident, Hatagami, a 51-year-old woman from Matsudo in Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo, was arrested by Japanese police.
