In the post shared on X, Machine Gun Kelly announced he was banned from Coachella.
Machine Gun Kelly (real name Colson Baker, known as MGK) recently addressed his absence from the Coachella Music Festival.
On X (formerly Twitter), MGK stated he was "banned" from Coachella in 2012. Despite looking forward to attending this year, a scheduling conflict arose.
In the post, he explained that his daughter Casie's volleyball tournament coincided with the festival dates. He emphasized his daughter's priority with the message, "she comes first."
He wrote on X: "Never been to a coachella, they banned me in 2012 for whatever reason, i was looking forward to finally going this year but my daughters volleyball tournament ended up on the same days so yall will have to lmk how it is, she comes first."
In the comment section, many said that he is the best dad after witnessing his struggle to balance work and spending time with Casie.
One person said: Moments with family may not come again, Coachella always will. You’re amazing.
A second wrote: I wanted to go too but also for the same reason won’t be there my son has awards and practice so I won’t be attending! Just the fact you choose your daughter endlessly says so much about your heart !
While a third commented: Coachella is just glorified for influencers and people in general to flex. You’re absolutely right, Casie comes first!
Someone else said: Have a great weekend at your daughter's volleyball tournament! Sounds more fun than Coachella!
Another added: Coachella typically has good music, so this is understandable.
In the post that was shared on Tuesday, February 20, on his Instagram account, the 33-year-old artist proudly displayed his latest tattoo endeavor.
The post has the caption: 'For spiritual purposed only'
The photo revealed his torso, now covered in a bold blackout tattoo, which is characterized by the application of solid black ink over large skin areas to form a continuous block of color.
Additionally, viewers observed that Machine Gun Kelly had tattoos across his upper chest and down both arms
The blackout tattoo stands out beside his previous tattoos through delicate lines that just manage to peek through.
Several fans were shocked after witnessing the particular design.
MGK's career began with mixtapes before signing with Bad Boy Records and releasing his debut album, "Lace Up."
Then, he shifted towards punk-pop with his 2020 album "Tickets to My Downfall," which became the only rock album to debut on the Billboard 200 that year.
He has also dabbled in acting, notably starring in "Midnight In The Switchgrass" alongside his partner, Megan Fox.
