Fans at the Madonna Culture TikTok Instagram page shared a video that quickly went viral on social media and showed what happened.
The video showed the Grammy winner seated on a chair while showing a part of the choreography for "Open Your Heart.
Madonna involved a dancer pulling the chair back towards the main stage. However, due to the high heels they were wearing, there was a slip, resulting in both the dancer and Madonna landing on the ground with their legs in the air.
After the incident, both Madonna and the dancer fell on stage.
Madonna experienced a brief moment of imbalance and turned over onto her stomach. However, she quickly recovered and let out a playful laugh, which endeared her to the crowd.
Madonna let another crew member come forward to assist her onto another chair.
However, Madonna realized she was sitting on the chair the wrong way and issued a mild expletive before repositioning herself.
Another dancer, dragging a chair along, approached Madonna, hugged her, and playfully interacted before moving on.
After the problem, Madonna immediately returned to the performance, recollected the lyrics and choreography swiftly, and finished the song.
Numerous fans praised her professionalism and dedication to entertaining the audience, while another applauded how she owned the fall and saved it with her cheeky laugh.
One user said: Lol, I liked the way he dragged the chair, lost his grip, and walked away. Didn't even bother helping the OG get up off the floor. This was very entertaining. I also liked the way the OG continued singing her song without missing a note/beat.
A second wrote: falling off a chair that close to the ground would never injure her..... I watched her skip rope for over 45 minutes before a concert after dancing with the team for 2-hour warm-up BEFORE the show...
A third commented: What a pro! Smile, get up, and keep going. I was there. It was hardly noticeable.
Someone else said: She handled that like a pro.
The tour is set to conclude on April 26 in Mexico City at the Palacio de los Deportes.
