Pop icon Madonna faced an awkward moment during her recent concerts on her Celebration Tour across the US.
In a viral video on social media, the 65-year-old singer was seen addressing the audience, encouraging them to 'take this ride with me'.
In the footage, the Popstar singled out a fan who was seated, asking, "What are you doing sitting down over there?".
Madonna then approached the edge of the stage. However, the situation quickly turned into a moment of embarrassment when she realized the fan was in a wheelchair.
Faced with immediate embarrassment, Madonna apologized, stating, "Oh, okay. Politically incorrect. Sorry about that."
"I'm glad you're here," she added.
The incident has drawn criticism online, with many fans saying that Madonna's approach is not professional, while others claimed that fans, regardless of mobility, have the right to stand or sit during a concert.
One person said: What is it with these diva stars? The amount these tickets cost entitles one to sit if they want to.

Last month, the singer crashed on stage during a performance of "Open Your Heart."
A viral video was shared by fans at the Madonna Culture TikTok Instagram page, which gained attention and quickly went viral on social media.
The footage showed Madonna seated on a chair while showing a part of the choreography for "Open Your Heart which involved a dancer pulling the chair back.
However, Madonna found herself in an embarrassing situation when the dancer slipped, causing both of them to land on the ground with their legs in the air.
After the incident, Madonna made a quick recovery and continued the performance.
The viral video showed Madonna quickly recovering, letting out a playful laugh, and continuing her performance before the crowd.
