However, instead of merely observing them, Jack takes it a step further by allowing himself to be bitten or stung to document the experience.

Black widow spider bites are not fatal

Contrary to popular belief, black widow spider bites are not typically fatal.

However, this does not mean that one should intentionally seek out a bite, as Jack's experience clearly demonstrated.

According to him, it took nearly two weeks for him to feel completely normal again after being bitten.

He experienced severe lower back pain, which he described as the most agonizing he had ever felt in his entire life.

Despite the challenges he faced following the bite, Jack's main objective was to raise awareness about spiders like the black widow.

He aimed to dispel the notion that their bites are as dangerous as commonly perceived.

While the bite itself is indeed terrible and painful, it is unlikely to be fatal.

In reality, black widow spiders are highly reluctant to bite unless they feel threatened or cornered.

Jack emphasized the importance of checking one's surroundings, particularly shoes or items in the garage, to avoid any potential encounters with these spiders.
