YouTuber Beau Ouimette, known as Aquachigger on the platform, ventured down a seemingly ordinary exploration that turned into a chilling encounter.
The creepy video left viewers stunned, even after Beau's explanation process.
The original video was posted in February 2017; however, it resurfaced after one user shared it on Reddit.
In the footage, Beau uploaded a video showcasing his exploration of a well located on an "old house site."
The landowner revealed it to be a hand-dug well, possibly dating back to the 18th century. Estimating its depth at around 15-20 feet, Beau, braver than most, decided to descend with a torch and hard hat, navigating "a lot of loose rocks" along the way.
The footage showed a strange sight down the well, including a rickety ladder propped up inside, with only darkness beyond the tenth rung.
Beau was seen beginning his descent, commenting on the well's unusual construction—'some sort of timbers.' However, the unsettling surprises were just beginning.
The video showed Beau cautiously descends, the precarious ladder – "shaky" and "slippery" – becomes the least of his concerns. His voice betrays his apprehension: "I hope there's no snakes down here. I guess they could get out."
Unfortunately, his hope is short-lived. Just a few rungs down, he encounters a chilling sight - snakes. "I'm probably surrounded by snakes," he mutters, fearing they might fall on him.
Despite his growing fear, Beau continues his descent.
The video captures the slithering movements of a serpent in the background, followed by the appearance of a "little tiny one." As if that wasn't enough, a third snake "comes out to visit" the explorer. Beau finally concedes, "They're everywhere."
