After walking as a dog, he shocked viewers with an updated video, showing attempts at agility with surprising results.
The Japanese man gained attention last year for his decision to spend $14,000 to transform himself into a collie, wearing a remarkably lifelike dog suit, as showcased in clips on his YouTube channel.
The video was posted on his YouTube account, @I_want_to_be_an_animal, and it showed Toco startling real-life dogs with his imposing presence.
Toco begins the course with a jump, an endeavor he regrettably fails to clear. Instead, Toco lands on the bar several feet above the ground, a move that would lead to automatic disqualification in a competition, according to dog trainer Brianne Farr of Trinity Border Collies.
Expressing her observations, Farr commented, "I don’t know how he maneuvers in that contraption because it looks like it’s challenging for sure."
She highlighted Toco's slow momentum leading up to the jump, emphasizing that such a performance would lead to disqualification in a genuine tournament.
As an interview with the New York Post, the dog trainer and owner of Trinity Border Collies, Brianne Farr, said, "I don’t know how he maneuvers in that contraption because it looks like it’s challenging for sure."
Farr said that Toco for correct in navigating the weave poles, even though it proved to be a challenge. She said: "He definitely needs to work on his jumping skills. Overall, I think it was a bit of a struggle for him."The video continued showed Toco proceeds to tackle additional obstacles commonly found in a dog agility course.
In the before video, Toco left the user shocked after sharing that he wanted to find a girlfriend and even go to the movies together. However, his dating pool is somewhat limited, as he's searching for another "therian," someone who was born as a human but identifies as a non-human.
Toco plans to attend Therian gatherings in the hopes of finding a like-minded partner. He said, "I think it would be great if I were able to use my skills and get the opportunity to appear as a dog in a movie."
Earlier, he shared a video showcasing his first public appearance as a dog, marking his debut as a canine in front of an audience
