The findings of this investigation have sparked furious among McDonald's customers.

In both the UK and the US, customers have expressed surprise at the current pricing, suggesting that McDonald's is no longer the cost-effective choice it once was.

Many critics wonder how McDonald's can stay in business with such high prices. They point out that the food quality hasn't improved despite the cost increase.

Customers feel that McDonald's no longer has an advantage over its rivals because its prices are comparable or even higher.

Previously, McDonald's CEO has addressed the backlash surrounding the chain's high food prices.

According to the CEO, McDonald's food prices are seen as "outrageous" because each restaurant can decide how much to charge. This means that prices can vary between locations.

This choice can lead to inflation as costs and demand increase. However, McDonald's corporate office has acknowledged the concerns raised by customers on social media.

The CEO, Chris Kempczinski, shared a report showing lower-than-expected sales, which was disappointing.

He emphasized the importance of making McDonald's more affordable in 2024. He mentioned that people's habits have changed, and more individuals are choosing to eat at home because it's cheaper.

The CEO recognized that attracting customers with lower incomes is crucial for the company. Despite the difficulties, McDonald's plans to offer special deals through their mobile app to attract customers.

While some experts believe prices may still increase, but at a slower rate, the CEO is committed to addressing customer feedback and finding ways to make their food more affordable.
