In an interview with Interview magazine, Cyrus described the incident, which left her shaken and fearing that the UFO might come back.
During a conversation with fashion designer Rick Owens, the topic of Area 51 and extraterrestrial life came up.
Owens expressed his belief that it was arrogant to affirm that humans are the only intelligent beings in the universe.
Cyrus immediately stated, stating, "That's what I f**king think!"
She went on to recount her personal experience with a UFO.
While driving with a friend through San Bernardino, Cyrus spotted her being chased by a strange flying object.
The singer describes the UFO as having a large plow-like structure in the front and emitting a glowing yellow light.
Both Cyrus and her friend witnessed this horrifying incident, as other drivers on the road stopped to observe the unusual phenomenon.
"While driving through San Bernardino with my friend, we were chased by a UFO. I'm pretty sure about what I saw.
"My friend and I both saw a UFO flying in the sky. Not only us but there were a few cars on the road that also witnessed this 'crazy' incident and they also stopped to observe it," Miley recountered.
The encounter had a profound impact on Cyrus, leaving her unable to see the sky in the same way again. She admitted to feeling shaken for several days, confessing that the experience had truly obsessed her.
According to Miley, what particularly affected her was making eye contact with a being inside the flying object.
Cyrus struggled to comprehend the encounter, describing it as looking into the eyes of something beyond her understanding.
Despite the fear that this incident brought to her, Cyrus emphasized that she never felt threatened by the UFO.
On the contrary, she claimed that the experience opened her mind to the possibility of other beings existing beyond Earth.
