A Barcelona-based modeling agency has revolutionized the industry by replacing human models with AI influencers.
Getting tired of the high egos and numerous challenges posed by traditional models, The Clueless agency has created AI versions, such as Aitana Lopez and Maia Lima, who are earning up to $11,000 per month.
The agency, known as The Clueless, was founded by Ruben Cruz in 2023.
Before this innovative move, the agency faced challenges in securing clients and experienced numerous projects being put on hold or canceled due to issues beyond their control.
Cruz recognized that many of these problems were caused by the influencers or models themselves, rather than design-related issues.
In response, The Clueless decided to eliminate human influencers and models altogether and instead developed AI versions of them.
Aitana Lopez, a 25-year-old from Barcelona, is described as a strong, determined, and generous woman who is independent in her actions and willing to help others.
The agency has invested significant effort in crafting detailed profiles for these AI influencers, including elements such as star signs and personal passions.
"In the first month, we realised that people follow lives, not images. Since she is not alive, we had to give her a bit of reality so that people could relate to her in some way.
"We had to tell a story," the company said.
The result has been remarkable, with Aitana Lopez earning an average of $3,000 per month, sometimes even reaching an impressive $11,000.
This success can be attributed to various factors, such as securing endorsement deals with a sports supplement company and utilizing a platform similar to OnlyFans called Fanvue.
Interestingly, Aitana Lopez has amassed over 300,000 followers on Instagram, many of whom are unaware that she is an AI influencer.
In fact, a well-known Latin American actor even reached out to Aitana Lopez, unaware of her AI nature, showing the effectiveness of the agency's approach.
Ruben Cruz explained that their motivation for creating AI influencers was to establish a more stable and independent income stream without relying on individuals with egos or those solely driven by financial gain.
The Clueless has received requests from brands seeking their own personalized AL models to represent their values, ensuring continuity and avoiding dependencies on individual influencers.
