Uncovering a guaranteed trick for your dishes has become viral on TikTok.
The simple hack, shared by the content creator @hotdogsilly, involves an unconventional method for placing tall wine glasses in the top drawer of a dishwasher.

In the footage, @hotdogsilly starts the clip with archival footage found online, demonstrating someone trying to place a stemmed wine glass into the top dishwasher drawer. The initial challenge is the glass being too tall, preventing the dishwasher door from closing properly.
However, the problem is resolved as the person flips a switch inside the rack, lowering it by several inches. This simple adjustment accommodates the tall glass in the top drawer, allowing the dishwasher door to close seamlessly.
As the revelation unfolds, @hotdogsilly is visibly surprised and promptly heads to her own kitchen to inspect her dishwasher drawers. To her amazement, she discovers a similar switch that facilitates accommodating larger items on the top rack
