6. "HEAVY steel/composite metal pieces found in stream at Gettysburg’s "

The post has the caption: My father pulled these from a small stream on or near the Gettysburg battle field in 1963. They are both heavy and the one clearly contains two different types of material considering the difference in rust and oxidation. Farm equipment? War relics? The piece on the left is not much larger than a door handle. Any clues?

Answer: It's a clip for flat tweezers; I think they are called Bills Tweezers or something. Gimme a sec and I'll try to find a picture. (pointy bit goes through the rectangular-ish hole, other part goes on your keyring.
