Blue cheese refers to any cheese made with the addition of cultures of edible molds, creating blue-green spots or veins throughout its structure.

These variations of the dairy product can differ in taste, color, and form.

Blue cheese is notoriously stinky, which can be caused by either the mold or the various specially cultivated bacteria present.

The role of Penicillium Roqueforti

The cheese is most commonly made using a type of mold called Penicillium Roqueforti. This mold is responsible for its distinct taste, smell, and appearance.

Unlike many other types of mold, the Penicillium Roqueforti used to make blue cheese does not produce mycotoxins, making it safe to consume for cheese lovers across the globe.

One person said: I love blue cheese. It tastes great. One of the best wing dips. Blue cheese crumbles on a burger are great.

A second wrote: blue cheese taste like they left ranch out in the sun for 48 hours...

While a third commented: Absolutely, can't let a little mold stop me from enjoying that delicious blue cheese!

Someone else said: I mean most cheese tastes better than it smells.

Another added: I knew a long time ago it was moldy cheese so I've never eaten any... the smell alone keeps me away from it. And I'm allergic to penicillin so it's a good thing I never ate any.

In the footage, she showed the addition of butter onto the grill followed by the pouring of a 'liquid egg' from a McDonald's-branded carton.

The footage showed Yaniii using a utensil resembling a thick fork, shaping the eggs into clumps before dividing them into portions and transferring them onto a tray.
