I'm sure the curiosity about how our favorite fast food items are made never seems to fade.

Recently, in in a viral video shard on Tiktok, Subway's worker exposed the process of how steak is made leaving many viewers shocked and stating they " will never eat it again". 

A viral video revealed how steak is made at Subway, leaving viewers disgusted. 

On social media, a shock revelation that has recently gone viral involves how steak is made at the popular sandwich chain, Subway.

A TikTok account named How Food is Made (@howfoodismade) posted a video showcasing the process of preparing steak at Subway. The video, shot from the perspective of an unidentified Subway employee, has left many viewers stating they 'will never eat it again".

An overlay on the TikTok video explains, "All done fresh is the only way we do it here.”

A viral video exposes the steak preparation process. 

The video begins with a robotic voice announcing, "This is how steak is made at Subway." The camera then pans to a brown, paste-like substance inside a plastic container. 

Viewers were stunned after realizing this paste had become the steak used in Subway's sandwiches.

The next part of the video showed the stage of preparation. The brown paste, which resembles tuna more than steak, is transferred from the bag into a black plastic container.

The employee then molded the mixture to create the product.

The footage showed Subway's employee drop the brown contents from the bag into a black plastic container and begin to mold the mixture.

This stage of the process transforms the paste into smaller chunks of steak, each carefully measured out to 2.5 ounces.

These portions are then placed into a stainless steel container, ready to be used in Subway's assembly line.

The video quickly went viral and gained attention on social media. 

The video showed the preparation process, however, consumers were less than impressed.

In the comment selection,  many took to the comments section of the video to voice their opinions.

One person said:  This must be America because this ain’t what our subway steak looks like in nz

A second wrote:  I worked at subway and I promise you making the tuna is worse.

While a third commented: You definitly lying,  the subway where I’m at got real steak

Another said:  and that's why I don't eat from Subway

Someone else said:  Yall chill with the tuna from subway. That’s all I get from there.

As someone who worked there for 2 years, sometimes it’s even more frozen than that. Someone said. 

i’ve never had steak from there. Another user continued. 

This viral TikTok video has certainly stirred up a reaction, revealing a side of fast food preparation that many were unaware of. While some viewers were shocked, others found it insightful.
