Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has recently been caught up in controversy on the set of his show Tulsa King. He was accused of mocking and insulting 'Tulsa King' extras during production.
The allegations have raised concerns about a toxic environment in the entertainment industry.
According to reports from casting groups on Facebook, Stallone allegedly exhibited disrespectful behavior towards the background actors.
One post mentioned that Stallone expressed dissatisfaction with their appearance, describing them as "ugly," "hideous," and "old and fat."
It was further alleged that Stallone made derogatory comments about their weight and physical disabilities.
These accusations led to a casting agency, CatrettLockeCasting, deciding to part ways with the show.
In a Facebook post, the agency stated its decision to end its involvement with Tulsa King, expressing well wishes to whoever takes over the production.
They also emphasized the importance of standing together against disrespect in the industry.
Zisk stated that the claims made against Stallone were false and that no insults were directed at the extras.
He clarified that the issue stemmed from a disagreement regarding the casting of the background actors, mentioning that they were supposed to be "young and hip."
Zisk claimed that he had informed the casting agency about the requirement and had asked for appropriate submissions moving forward.
Despite the director's denial, the controversy surrounding Stallone's alleged behavior has raised concerns about the treatment of actors on set.
