The concert, held at Anfield Stadium, saw the American superstar, 34, overwhelmed by the response of the 60,000-strong audience.
In the show, Taylor was seen wore a flowing red dress to perform "Champagne Problems," a song she co-wrote with Joe for her 2020 album, *Evermore*.
Following the performance, the crowd's chants prompted her to remove her earpiece to fully appreciate the moment. She expressed her gratitude, saying, "It's genuinely such an honor to play for a crowd like this, that you would do something like that for us." She then shouted, "I love you so much, Liverpool, thank you!"
Below the stage, fans were also thrilled by Taylor's performance.
One person said:She and Joe were good for eachother in the beginning. But they were a mismatch, and his statement abt "commodifying" the relationship speaks volumes: he doesn't like her world.
A second wrote: She was emotional because she got a standing ovation like she does everynight after singing champagne problems and every single night she gets emotional at it.
While a third commented: As if he is ever on her mind now!! Got nothing else to write about??
Another added: Yeah I'd be emotional knowing a whole stadium is cheering her on and there she is miming
Well he did co-write that song with her. Maybe she was thinking of a memory. Especially if she was given a standing ovation. Another user added.
English actor Joe Alwyn, 33, finally opened up about their breakup, 14 months after it was revealed.
In an interview with *The Sunday Times Style*, Joe shared his thoughts on keeping their relationship private. "As everyone knows, we together — both of us, mutually — decided to keep the more private details of our relationship private. It was never something to commodify and I see no reason to change that now," he said.
In the interview, when asked about Swift's latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," which is rumored to be about their breakup, he chose to focus on the broader emotional challenges rather than directly addressing the album.
Joe shared: "I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathize with and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half year.
Joe Alwyn added, "It's a difficult relationship to talk about parting ways."
When asked if he had listened to Taylor's latest album, *The Tortured Poets Department*, Joe's response was thoughtful and empathetic. "In thinking about what I was going to say, I would think and hope that anyone and everyone can empathize. This isn't a direct answer to your question, but just thinking about what I want to talk about."
He added, "I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years."
Despite their breakup, both Taylor and Joe continue to move forward. Taylor is now dating Travis Kelce.
