In an interview with the Daily Mail, Taylor Swift revealed that she once allowed Tyler Controy and a few other fans to wander around the lower floor of her sprawling property.
In a new interview, Tyler Controy shares his experience in Taylor Swift's home.
Tyler Conroy, a self-proclaimed Taylor Swift superfan, recently had the opportunity to visit the pop star's $50 million townhouse in the Tribeca neighborhood. In a new interview, he shared details of his unique experience.
Tyler Conroy, recently appointed as a Taylor Swift correspondent for ITV’s “This Morning,” described the home as “brown,” “rustic,” and designed in an 'old New York style.
Additionally, Conroy disclosed that Taylor's home had a secret “speakeasy” bathroom, accessible via a secret door behind a bookcase.
The room included towels with “TS” monogrammed on them.
He not only had the experience of exploring Taylor Swift's library filled with “Harry Potter” books but also of listening to her 2014 hit “Shake It Off” within the confines of her home.
After being allowed by Taylor Swift, author of “This Is Our Song,” Tyler explained that Swift permitted him and a few other fans to wander around the lower floor of her sprawling property.
During the visit, Swift’s dad, Scott Swift, was present.
He shared anecdotes with the group, including a story about actor Ian McKellen sitting at the dining table in his pajamas when Taylor first viewed the apartment. Scott also mentioned that he and Taylor had watched “Frozen” together at her place, an anecdote that Conroy found endearing.
He recounted: “‘When Taylor went to look at her apartment, [former resident] Ian McKellen was sat there at the dining table in his pajamas.'”
Scott, 72, also told the group that he and his daughter, 34, watched “Frozen” together at her place, according to Swiftie, who thought the anecdote “was so cute.”
Additionally, Taylor Swift's superfans also encountered some of Taylor’s beloved cats.
Additionally, Conroy noticed a birdcage with a broken Grammy Award in it. He learned that Taylor had broken it at the 2010 ceremony and decided to keep it in the cage as a memento.
However, her album sparked debate on social media as fans believed it not only targets her ex-boyfriend Matty Healy, but also includes a 'diss track' aimed at Kanye West, igniting discussions online.
