Mark Gore's fishing guide, a man - named Nick - was observed washing his hands over the edge of the boat when a shark unexpectedly surged forward and clamped onto his hand, causing him to fall into the water.
The incident occurred just moments after he disregarded his friend's warning. As the man attempted to rinse his hands in the water, his companion cautioned him about the potential dangers.
Despite the off-camera voice advising against it, the man nonchalantly replied, “Ah, two seconds won’t do anything,” while he both hands in the water.
In the video, within an instant, the shark chomps onto the fisherman’s right, pulling him into the water as he screamed in terror.

Based on the video, the shark didn't appear to be a particularly large individual, it could have been a lemon shark, but it was powerful enough to knock Nick off balance and send him rolling into the water.
With the assistance of his companions, the man successfully manages to hoist himself back onto the boat. “He was rushed back to the dock and the Park Rangers were a lifesaver (literally). “He was airlifted to the hospital and is in the best care possible.”
