On the Reddit platform, a picture depicting a Tesla Cybertruck significantly damaged by a semi-truck trailer sparked debate.
The picture of the Cybertruck being significantly damaged was shared by u/sjadam on the Reddit thread r/pics.
They revealed that the Cybertruck, which had been on order for four and a half years, was finally in the hands of its owner for just a week before the incident occurred.
On social media, the Cybertruck was damaged, resembling a smashed Lego toy, with part of its window broken and other pieces of its body scattered on the ground.
The second image captures the moment of the accident, presumably taken by a bystander who hopefully also alerted the semi-trailer driver. The third image provides a close-up view of the extensive damage.
The smashed Cybertruck left viewers on social media stunned.
Below the post, many expressed sympathy for the Tesla owner, while many Reddit users had different reactions. Some echoed the same sentiment.
One person said: Gets smashed by a SEMI trailer,, people expect the glass to not break..
A second wrote: Amazing! it is almost intact
While a third commented: The cyber truck really said “call an ambulance, but not for me”
Another added: Not even the area, but square in the bay, blocking the gate. Amazing.
Someone else said:Sounds like someone who'd pay good money for a Cybertruck lmao
In a previous accident, the Tesla Cybertruck had left everyone amazed by its intact condition.
However, this first-ever reported accident involving the Cybertruck has left people shocked and questioning the safety of this groundbreaking vehicle.
According to the CHP summary, the accident occurred at approximately 2:05 pm on SR-35, south of Page Mill Road.
The initial investigation indicates that a Toyota Corolla was traveling southbound on SR-35 when the driver suddenly turned right and struck a dirt embankment on the right shoulder.
This caused the vehicle to spin out of control and collide with the Tesla Cybertruck, which was traveling in the opposite direction.
The incident was shared by @boddhya on Reddit and sparked debate about the safety of Tesla vehicles after such a significant accident."
The Tesla still looks intact. This is so amazing! One user said.
The Tesla looks like it never had an accident, is this true? The second asked.
How did the Tesla remain intact after going head-to-head with the Corolla? Another commented.
Luckily, both drivers were okay. I was really surprised at the durability of the Tesla! Someone wrote
