On the Reddit platform, users have been sharing the monthly insurance costs for their Cybertrucks, and some of the figures are staggering.
A user, @ntally_00 shared that they were initially quoted a six-month insurance cost of $5,900, which equates to nearly $1,000 per month. After shopping around, they managed to find a slightly more affordable rate of $488 per month. Still, this is significantly higher than the average insurance cost, which is typically under $200 per month.
One person said: Looks like $1200/6 mth or $188/mth were the costs floating around.
A second wrote: I did a rough quote with progressive with (from what I recall) pretty low deductibles/high coverage and they gave me $211/month or $1003/6 month. Driving for ~15 years, reside in Nevada, clean driving record. Waiting for my VIN to get a real final quote.

On social media, a Tesla owner, named Bilal Sattar shared on X platform, revealing how much money he has saved on fuel in the last six months.
According to Sattar, he spent only $573 on charging his Tesla over 10,000 miles. In contrast, an equivalent gas car would have cost roughly $2,400 at $4 per gallon, resulting in savings of $1,800.
The post read: “6 months and roughly 10k miles I've spent only $573 to charge. An equivalent gas car at $4/gallon would have cost roughly $2400. I saved $1800".
In the post, Sattar also reveals his strategy for saving fuel with his Tesla car.
