Recently, a Twitch streamer gained significant attention after a missing boy appeared on his livestream, accidentally resolving the missing case lasting for seven weeks.
FaZe Lacy, the content creator behind the stream, has since provided updates on this remarkable incident.
FaZe Lacy experienced an unexpected incident during a live broadcast from Miami when he noticed a young man, donning vibrant green shorts, pass by him and his friend while they were enjoying a meal outdoors.
At the time, Lacy didn't know that the casual meeting he had during his livestream turned out to be a significant development in the case of a missing person.
Only after he checked his emails later did he come across a message from Trent Coleman, who identified himself as the brother of the missing teenager, Troy Coleman.
Trent strongly believed that the unidentified young man seen in Lacy's livestream was, in fact, his brother whom they had been desperately searching for.
After learning about the email, FaZe Lacy chose to disclose its contents and share his thoughts on social media.
He revealed that Troy had been absent for three months, causing great concern among his loved ones. The family even believed that Troy might have become a victim of a crime, as they stated he had been "put on homicide."
Lacy speculated that this phrase indicated the family's belief that Troy was dead.
The original email from Trent clarified Troy's condition, revealing that the seventeen-year-old suffered from schizophrenia.
He had disappeared from their family home in Flint, Michigan, leaving his loved ones deeply concerned.
Troy Coleman, described as a tall individual standing at 6'4" and weighing approximately 165 pounds, was last sighted in Mt. Morris Township, Michigan, on May 17th.

His father, Weston, shared that Troy did not pose a danger to the public but emphasized his need for crucial medication, which he did not have with him.
Lacy shared the story on Twitter and later updated that Troy had been found and was staying at a hotel in Miami until he could return to Michigan to his family.
The local police also confirmed that Troy had been found safe, and they were arranging for his return home.
Thanks to the power of the internet, the 17-year-old missing for nearly three months has been located and will soon be reunited with his family.
“He has been found safe in Miami, Florida, and we are working with local authorities to arrange his safe return to Michigan to be with his family,” said the Flint Township Police Department.
The department added, “The Flint Township Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who shared the missing person information about Troy Coleman.”
