Meta's CEO revealed that there is still work to be done as the app is merely the bare bones right now, He expressed that Threads will eventually align with his other social media applications.
With the goal of amassing more than one billion followers from the new app, Mark Zuckerberg emphasized that the company will persist in developing the product and subsequently generate revenue from Threads.

He said that "Threads is powered by Instagram, so right now it’s just one account, but we’re looking into a way to delete your Threads account separately,”
