A woman has revealed that she allowed her husband to sleep with her bridesmaid on their wedding night and insisted it made the day more 'fun'.
In September, the couple married in an intimate ceremony in Torquay, Devon.
The couple, known as Katey, 26, from Plymouth, and her husband, Dan, 25, appeared on Truly's show, Love Don't Judge. During the episode, they not only surprised viewers by revealing that Katey allowed her husband to sleep with her bridesmaid on their wedding night but also provided insights into unconventional relationships.
In the episode, Katey said that she identifies as bisexual. So, on the night of her wedding, she invited one of her bridesmaids to join them in the bedroom, leading to a threesome.
She left the viewer shocked after saying that she did it on a special day, making it a memorable and fun experience.
She explained: 'She's one of my best friends so it was very comfortable.'
Katey reveals that her relationship with her family has been put under enormous strain since they found out about the couple inviting bridesmaids into the bedroom.
In the show, she said that her family not only thought their actions were 'disgusting but also attributed the initiative primarily to Dan. They also refused to attend the wedding, withholding their support for the couple.
Despite the absence of her family, Katey felt joy being surrounded by individuals who accepted her and Dan for who they were on this momentous day
She said, 'I think a lot of the judgment I received has been from my family. They disapproved of what I was doing and they don't really speak to me anymore because of it.'
Additionally, the couple initially found it difficult to see each other engaging in intimate relationships, but that is no longer a problem.
Dan added: 'The jealousy is kind of part of it; it makes things more exciting.'
