After taking in an ultrasound, a woman 'who' married' a rag doll held a gender reveal party for their second rag doll child.
Meirivone Rocha Moraes' whirlwind affair with the inanimate object - which her mother made for her - has taken several unexpected turns over the previous year, ranging from adultery rumors to kidnappings.
In a video posted to TikTok, the couple, who already have a son named Marcelinho, hold a smoke bomb that turns pink, revealing the upcoming baby is a girl to be named Marcela.
Meirivone, from Brazil, provided an update on her pregnancy earlier this month while attending an ultrasound for the child. She stated that the child will be born in December.
"I wanted it to be a boy because I've heard having a girl is very expensive and much more work," Meirivone said.
"But the baby will still be welcomed and very loved by me and her dad. Marcelo is very, very happy because he wanted a girl. He already has Marcelinho, who is our boy, so now a girl has made him very satisfied."
In the presence of forty relatives and friends, the couple threw a gender reveal party at home.
Meirivone added: "The party was good. There was chicken, pasta, salad and cake.
"We even had personalized sweets with our initials, music, soft drinks, and lots of guests, the event was attended by around 40 people. And the moment of revelation was really cool, the baby's name will be Marcela."
Meirivone and Marcelo are shown in the social media video standing in front of a display of pink and blue balloons, with her brandishing a smoke grenade.
She lets out a distinct scream and starts to bounce up and down as the smoke flashes a gorgeous shade of pink.
The camera captures her family and friends celebrating, while her rag doll son watches on from one of the guests' laps.
Her video quickly garnered the attention of the public, with many comments that expressed confusion at the bizarre incident.

The family has made numerous headlines due to their unconventional lifestyle over the years.
In November, Meirivone shared photos of herself attending an ultrasound for her baby girl and even flicking through the scan pictures.
In June, Meirivone claimed husband Marcelo had cheated on her again, leading to her making the love rat sleep on the sofa and even removing his 'penis'.
She said: "I found out when my friend sent me a message one evening saying that he was cheating on me. So that night, I got really bad and made him sleep on the couch."
In February, Meirivone claimed their baby Marcelinho was held hostage by captors demanding £161 for his release. As she waited for news, she posted a TikTok video urging people to come forward.
The helpless mother, who quit working while searching, revealed she is 'terrified' after receiving a video of her son sitting in an abandoned building.
Marcelinho was present at the baby shower for his sister and has been confirmed to be safe and sound.
