Recently, a YouTuber surprised viewers by testing out a lesser-known private jet service that operates like Uber but with a cost of over $500. The experience left viewers astonished.
Known as DownieLive on YouTube, the YouTuber named Mike embarked on a luxurious travel experience using an app called Airble.
Through this app, which provides a one-of-a-kind flying experience, Mike documented his journey and discovered the incredible benefits it offers.
Comparing the private jet app to Uber, Mike expressed his curiosity, saying, "They say the app is just like Uber for private jets. We're gonna give it a try."
Mike showcased the user-friendly features of the Airble app, which can be easily downloaded from the App Store.
He explained that using the app is straightforward - users simply input their desired destination and travel dates.
The app then presents a list of available planes for the specified date, allowing users to choose their preferred option.
To offer such enticing prices, Airble leverages a concept known as Deadhead, wherein pilots or crew members need to return to their home base following a flight.
Because return trips frequently have unoccupied seats, the Airble app takes advantage of this by allowing the public to book these empty spots at considerably lower prices, as explained by Mike.
During Mike's personal encounter with Airble, he took a one-hour flight from Vancouver to Kelowna, for which he paid a total of $542.29.
Given the alternative options of enduring a five-hour drive or a four-hour commercial flight, the price appeared quite reasonable.
In fact, Mike discovered that he had only spent around $150 more than an economy class ticket for a four-hour flight while saving nearly $300 compared to the extravagant cost of a business class ticket, which amounted to a staggering $810.
Traveling by private jet brings numerous advantages that go beyond the usual experience of commercial flying.
Passengers relish the perks of a separate check-in area, avoiding long queues and unnecessary waits for baggage since they personally load their belongings onto the plane.
Moreover, private jet travelers can enjoy exclusive access to private lounges, carry liquids without restrictions, experience no delays caused by other passengers, and even receive a personal escort to the plane from the pilot.
Many people felt overwhelmed by this little-known service, expressing the desire to try this 'Uber' private jet.
