The movie has sparked numerous questions from the media, with one particular interview leaving viewers cringing at the awkward questions posed to Zendaya.
-To promote the film, Zendaya appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (April 18), donning a gray Ralph Lauren blazer and white high stiletto heels. The host and the actor shared a light-hearted exchange about their matching outfits.
Zendaya also discussed her family’s reaction to the racy scenes in 'Challengers'.
She mentioned that she had warned her family about the sexual themes in the movie.
The actor humorously shared how she watched her family's reactions during those scenes, finding their discomfort amusing.
She said: "But I forewarned them. It was honestly my favorite part of the night. Cause I’ve seen the movie many times."
Zendaya added: "I know when the scenes are coming so when those scenes were happening I just was watching my family because they were behind me, so I just watched them the whole time, it was hilarious."
"And then my little nieces were back there, I mean they’re grown-ups but they’re 18," Zendaya said.
"It was my favorite part of the night."
Previously, Zendaya revealed that she 'loved' filming the intimate scenes in 'Challengers'.
This is quite different from the discomfort many actors usually feel.
Zendaya expressed her gratitude for being paired with skilled performers and for the supportive environment created by director Luca Guadagnino.
She felt lucky to have their support and collaboration throughout the making of the film.
